It has no print on the bottom, which is rare for lodging. The individual powers of The Ashtray, if they exist, are completely unknown. The ashtray is one of the seven objects used in the Conroy Experiment to “open a tear in reality”. Uesful eBay search terms: clear glass ashtray clear square ashtray square glass ashtray Travelodge ashtray travel lodge ashtray Very few collectors have found ashtrays with no print on the bottom. Most have opted to buy ashtrays with as little print as possible and remove the print. This takes at least an hour of hard sanding. Afterword the glass may be scuffed. It can possibly be repolished with cerium oxide (no collector to date has attempted this). The luster can be satisfactorily restored by spraying the bottom with a thin coat of clear gloss. Because The Ashtray is clear glass, it is often difficult to identify the correct shape of ashtrays that are listed online. This ashtray from Anchor Hocking is the one most frequently mistaken for the paulian ashtray:   Fortunately, the correct ashtray is not difficult to find. If you aren’t sure of a listing, skip it and wait for the next one. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Mon, 02 Mar 2009 02:06:29 +0000
