The Pen
The Pen
classification: paulian
(behind the scenes image provided by Jess)
(collection of Paulv70)
(collection of Spikosauropod)
The pen is first shown in the opening scene at Karl Kreutsfeld’s pawn shop. Howard (The Weasel) Montague uses it to fry Jake Scuillo and Marco Cordova. It is critical to several later scenes.
When the ballpoint tip of the pen is touched to any object, including inanimate objects, it immediately discharges powerful microwaves, killing or destroying whatever is contacted.
The pen is a typical maroon colored Bic Click with a brass colored clip. It is imprinted with the Sunshine Motel logo and the word “Sunshine”. The original prop makers ordered them in bulk because this was easier and cheaper than trying to make just one.

Re: The Pen
Paul made his original pen a long time ago. I don’t foresee a new batch.
I can, however, use some of your pictures.

Re: The Pen
Just so everyone knows, all the Pens I had are gone and I can't get any more. The company I ordered the first 300 from went out of business and when I was contemplating doing a second run I searched and was never able to find another that carried the correct type.
