Re: I got out bidded on both items..... >.<
I agree if someone's using our forum to find objecs without participating it is a little sleazy, but how can we know for sure that's what's happening? I found plenty of objects before we even established The Collectors.

Re: I got out bidded on both items..... >.<
A brand new collector with a spontaneous urge to collect lost room objects would first get things like the key, pen, and bus ticket. He would get the very visible objects, not an obscure object that no one has ever seen. This is, of course, a weighted guess, but I think it is very improbable that anyone working alone would start their collection in this fashion.
Of interest: Mr T once raised the issue of whether or not there could be any other collector cabals. I think we can see now that it would be virtually impossible for anyone in the world to begin an object collection without us knowing all about it. Scary as this may sound, I can tell you the specific objects in our suspicious non-members collection.
But there is another possibility. Maybe he doesn’t know that we exist and he is getting his information by looking at the purchase records of other collectors. Just like us, he would be able to tell what every other collector is doing. He could do this without ever realizing that we are working together.

I take all that back. If you get on Google image search and punch in “the lost room object collection”, “paulv70”, “chucklbunny”, or “spikosauropod” images of object collections come up. Still, all roads lead to our forum. It would be a peculiar person who went that far and didn’t follow up the leads—especially someone committed to tracking down and buying the actual objects.
To arrive at our forum do the following:
Go to Google image search and enter “the lost room object collection”.
Click on Chuckles object picture (with the very prominent TV in the center).
Go down just a little and click “The Collectors”
You will be at our forum.
I’m not sure why, but I find this whole experience rather disconcerting. The little web-bots are leaving bread crumbs that we could never manage.
