I got out bidded on both items..... >.<
I am mad now... i was out bidded on the two ideam that i was after. And by the same person!!! and they are a fan of the lost room....

No question about it, he’s an object collector.
I wouldn’t feel bad about the time table. You want the spring-summer edition that goes through May 4.
Sorry about the clock. That was a beauty. Honestly, though, I wouldn’t have expected to win a mint condition Phinney-Walker with the original box for $25. I’m astonished that he won it for $26.
Perhaps I could give you some tips on bid sniping. That kayakbob you were up against is obviously a master. He got his one and only bid in ten seconds before the auction ended.
Another thing, he must visit our forum. No one doing this on their own would have tracked down that time schedule. Bob, are you out there! Drop in and introduce yourself!

it's for this reason that I wanted to make "The Legion" a forum only seen and accessed by members of The Collectors. (invisible to non-members)
To have someone siphoning info from us after we go thru the work of finding an Object for other members hurts.
It's obvious that the bidder in question found our site and uses it for info to find Objects but does not even join or participate. To me that makes him a parasite pure and simple.
I think that we provide a valuable resource for info regarding The Lost Room and I don't want to shut anyone out. All I ask is for them to join to access our database which in itself is not to much to ask.
That's my 2 cents on this subject.

When I can’t watch an auction, I use these guys:
It has worked perfectly for me a dozen times now. It is free if you don’t need to cut it too close, and only $2 to cut it as close as you would care to. Honestly, I don’t even fret over auctions any more. I just place my maximum bid with AuctionStealer and wait until I get my winning notification.

The economics of what he is doing is most harmful to him. When one of us bids, there is very little chance that we will be bidding against another collector because we will not bid against each other and we will only be bidding against Bob when we are bidding on an object that he is aware of and does not already have. He, on the other hand, will nearly always be bidding against one of us because there is always someone who doesn’t have a particular object. His entire collection is going to be acquired at a premium.
But Bob is obviously a brand new collector. I know that for other reasons. It probably didn’t even occur to him that he would end up being scrutinized so closely.
Bob, are you out there? We aren’t mad at you because you probably didn’t know about our covenant. You should become one of us so that you can benefit from all of our sacred wisdom. Besides, if you aren’t one of us, who will you share your collection with? Who but us will even care?
