Re: Does the quarter work in the room?
Even better. It brings memories to life, but does not precisely reincarnate. If an insane person ate the quarter, could a deluded memory come to life: Martians perhaps?

Re: Does the quarter work in the room?
Possibly. It's also possible the "authenticity" of the apparition could depend on Kreutfeld's proximity or level of concentration.

Re: Does the quarter work in the room?
I had not read this post and incidentally asked Chris about the quarter.

If we go strictly by "it has the power to bring memories to life" including "living memories" then it would have to be something you've directly experienced which would rule out fantasy characters.
Other than that, I don't know.
i asked him what i will point out her to you. if that quarter has the ability as it is said in the show what about a stalkers knowledge about a fictitious person. or how about someone's dilutional imaginary friend? i would think these apparition would be able so be recreated by the quarter. remember what Kreutzfeld said "The objects have the ability to alter reality" so who's reality is really the true reality. And no one knows that better then "The Occupant" his reality was altered completely. this is why i think the quarter can do this. (i have more to say but am at work and will have to resume later. haha)
