The door could lead to other places besides common terrestrial settings. I don’t necessarily mean other planets, but perhaps other realities with subtle but distinct differences. I think the series should expand on the entire scenario. It shouldn’t move too far or too fast, but it should definitely progress. Another thing: there is no reason why the scenario must be linear. We know that the event changed reality once. It could change it again. It is entirely possible that developments that have already taken place might be erased or radically altered. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Fri, 28 Sep 2007 15:31:36 +0000 Re: Where to start?https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p1580,from=rss#post1580https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p1580,from=rss#post1580In a perfect world, I'd like to see another mini-series that starts 1 minute after the event and deals with Eddie trying to go home, the discovery of the key, the formation of the Collectors, the Conroy Experiement and the first Cabal war.nondisclosed_email@example.com (paulv70)Fri, 28 Sep 2007 14:59:18 +0000 Where to start?https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p1579,from=rss#post1579https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p1579,from=rss#post1579What would be a better idea for a TLR series? Should they continue it after Joe throws the key into the room or maybe start it after the event? I'd like to see the series start after the event or somewhere between the mini series and the event. A series that does nothing but back story can get old but The Lost Room is so filled with questions reguarding the event and everything that followed it might be a good thing. Otherwise it may be a series filled with flashbacks that can confuse more than educate. In the right hands The Lost Room could be the next great sci-fi series to come but in the wrong hands it could easily wind up a one shot pilot series that someone has gone to great extremes to change.nondisclosed_email@example.com (toddcross)Fri, 28 Sep 2007 13:35:41 +0000
