If you look at the seal "triangle" edges where it meets the the word Redi-Slip, it looks like they did the same thing I did. The lettering of "Re" should be going between the triangles but instead it seems to stop at a gray wall even with the tip of the triangles. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jintosh)Thu, 22 May 2014 00:14:40 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22250,from=rss#post22250https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22250,from=rss#post22250It is really a remarkable innovation. I would never have realized what you did if X had not asked me about it. I was confident, until I looked at it with a magnifying glass, that they were actual cutouts. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Wed, 21 May 2014 16:07:54 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22249,from=rss#post22249https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22249,from=rss#post22249quote:It is a clever illusion. Yes, the problem with cutting them all to small sharp points is that the point would then get caught on things and peel up. I went with the illusion.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jintosh)Wed, 21 May 2014 13:14:40 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22247,from=rss#post22247https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22247,from=rss#post22247It is a clever illusion. The small cutouts are just an area that is printed the same color as the background. I had to look at it closely to even realize what he had done. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Wed, 21 May 2014 00:07:23 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22246,from=rss#post22246https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22246,from=rss#post22246Adding the tax stamp was an inspired idea. How did you create the jagged edges on the stamp?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Exyooper)Tue, 20 May 2014 23:14:49 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22245,from=rss#post22245https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22245,from=rss#post22245Yes, I was planning this and realized I could not buy Arrco cards that would all have the same picture for every deck. The only way to have consistancy would be to have a custom logo. The custom cards are a big part of the price, but I love them. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jintosh)Tue, 20 May 2014 20:13:35 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22243,from=rss#post22243https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22243,from=rss#post22243I did open it because I wanted to see the cards. I opened it on the end that is not seen in the screen cap or the Jess images. Also, I opened it with a razor blade so that when it is sealed the cut is invisible. The cards are a nice touch. A lot of people would just have put in some kind of filler. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Spikosauropod)Tue, 20 May 2014 16:31:57 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22241,from=rss#post22241https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22241,from=rss#post22241quote:Beautiful work Jin. Thank you! Indeed. Thank you. Did you open the pack? It's a weird thing....the cards are beautiful on the inside, but you have to break the top seal to access them. The Arrco seal was something that I found HALF of the seal and had to create the other half of the seal to get the full effect. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jintosh)Tue, 20 May 2014 11:43:49 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22240,from=rss#post22240https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22240,from=rss#post22240Beautiful work Jin. I emailed you at your lostroom address. Indeed. Thank you. I did my own design for the case. It is created from scratch but is in the spirit of the design here. I am told by friends on the RPF website that it is not GOOD to copy and sell someone else's 'Free paper prop". Thus, my own design. I took the time to recreate the seal on the cards. It is a label applied to the deck, it is not printed on the case. The physical design is a normal card deck pack. You may cut the top seal and get access to the cards.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jintosh)Fri, 16 May 2014 00:28:53 +0000 Re: Web sitehttps://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22238,from=rss#post22238https://bthecollectors.runboard.com/p22238,from=rss#post22238I would like to get one of those just to sample your wares.
