Philosophical dilemma about TLR collecting

Here's a dilemma for you:

A collector starts collecting TLR -related items.

He begins with Object props, and naturally, is aiming for the perfect show-correct collection.

Now time passes and he soon notices a perfect 1:1 collection is difficult to achieve. And while looking the 1:1 items, he bumps into a close match, a genuine real life vintage item.

He decides to buy that, if nothing else but to become a placeholder for the genuine artifact.

Question number one:
A) If he keeps up taking placeholders, when does his collection turn from a TLR -collection into not-TLR collection?

B) Or will he eventually have two sets of collections, the Canon show-correct one and the real life valued antiques one?

Question number two:
Which one of these is the pseudo collection?

Re: Philosophical dilemma about TLR collecting

Because my collection is smaller, and I am somewhat patient, almost all of my items are accurate and I do not have close matches.

Theres only a few things I really bought non-accurate. Like, a bunch of grooming kits. I had to get pieces from several to make one accurate kit.

And my watch is right except for the face.

But I know Chuck has several grooming kits and watches as well.
