I've been going in a different direction.
A devotee of Star Trek is typically called a Trekie. Many prefer to be called Trekers. I have heard that a devotee of Farscape is called a Scaper. It appears evident that a devotee of TLR has been and must always be called a Collector—as in, "A dozen Collectors were observed in line waving their scissors and other objects in the air. The police vacillated over confiscating the more dangerous implements."

If a fan of Star Trek is a Treker and a fan of Farscape is a Scaper, then wouldn't a fan of The Lost Room be a Roomer?
It looks like we aren't the only ones looking into naming the fans of The Lost Room
Red 5 Comics brought up the concept also.

(Are ‘Lost Room’ fans called ‘Roomies’? ‘Losties’? We’d better look into this!)
For the record, my entry was a joke, well actually a pun to be exact.
a homophonic pun utilizes the exploitation of word pairs which sound alike, but are not synonymous
rumor - something that is thought to be true but isn't

I dealt with that in a hurry. Got to get my candidate out front!

Re: THE LOST ROOM comic book "Season Two" coming 2011 from Red 5
Yes this is really a puzzle... as a "collector" is not a descriptive noun itself... like when someone on the news talks about "trekkies" everyone instantly knows the word means star trek fan. But if someone casually talks about "collectors" or "roomies" the reference is not obvious.
That is why we need to invent better nickname for us fans.
Here some ideas from me:
Roomatic (Room & fanatic)
Objector (Object & suffix for doer)
TLRer (obviously difficult to pronounce)
Collecter ( a new word, slightly different from the usual, also a french version for a collector)

That is problematic too, as miller is already estabished noun
"trekker" is good that way, it did not mean anything before it became what it is

Re: THE LOST ROOM comic book "Season Two" coming 2011 from Red 5
Cabalist might work... but it has bad connotations.... it resembles too much the word "cultist"
Perhaps "roomer" is our only option, mostly every other word goes too far from the show name *scratches head*

The name does not need to be self-evident to non initiates. For example, fans of Harry Potter are called “Muggles”.
I am still pushing for “Collectors”.
