What your friend told us about the painting is already useful. We know it is from an antique shop and we know it is a print.

But if you do decide to raid the prop store, follow Walt's example and wear a suitable bobble mask.
However, one of these days that lock will come off. Some time someone has to open that storeroom. When it happens, I’m betting someone connected with us will be on hand to take pictures.
of course, if the key was real, we could be in and out without anyone knowing.....
Re: The Painting I just bought this postcard because it intrigued me. After a point by point comparison with other postcards and pictures, I was able to confirm that it is the Le Conte Oak seen from the other side.
Re: The Painting Went to Berkeley on Saturday.
Shot a bunch of images of the dedication stone.
It was hard to get a fix on a location all the old
oaks are gone. Two of the redwood trees at the
far left of the Wall Painting are just stumps.
As best as I can tell only one tree might still
be there. Oddly its the redwood in the dead c
center of the painting. After looking through
