The Ninth Gate...my latest prop
it was an awesome film IMO.
Just bought this recently when I saw it on Google search by chance:
The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows

Actually it's a custom made, ancient - all LCF version with the CENIZA BRO engraving added. Basically the original Lucifer written tome (Delomelanicon) before it was split into three books by Aristide Torchia with the Devil at his side.

So, I am on a website for prop collecting called "theRPF.com". Everyone there makes or sells or talks about prop replicas from Movies and TV.
I found a guy there that makes Ninth Gate book replicas. It turns out the these prop replicas have random Latin text in the book with the woodcuts.
If you remember the Main bad guy tells a story once he gets all nine woodcuts. The story embodies a journey represented by the nine pictures.
So, I am paying the RPF guy (big bucks) to make me a Nine Gates book, but he is going to substitute the DANTE'S INFERNO poem instead of the random Latin text in the Nine Gates book. Dante's Inferno is a journey through HELL. Literally.
I thought this was a better content to go with the woodcuts signed by Lucifer. If the Dante's Inferno text has Dante going through HELL, then that would be when he got the woodcuts created and signed by Lucifer. I thought this fit logically and poetically.
