The Paperclip
The Paperclip
classification: paulesque
The Paperclip appears in The Key and the Clock. A member of The Collectors, Collected7, discovered a paperclip on Howard (the Weasel) Montague’s object chart, and raised the question of whether or not it was an object. Christopher Leone, one of the three writers, has confirmed that there is a paperclip object. We do not have positive confirmation that the paperclip on the Weasel’s chart is the actual one.
The Paperclip is a standard large silver paperclip of the sort that is found lying around in drawers and files everywhere.
The powers of The Paper Clip, if they exist, are completely unknown.
The Paperclip is probably the easiest object to acquire. It is so easy that there is a tendency to regard it as trivial. Nevertheless, it is an important part of any object collection, and should be proudly displayed.

Ok folks...I asked The Creator and here is his amazing response:
Chucklbunny asked:
Chris,
I am back with a new question for you.....in the scene with the Weasel where you can see his Object Chart he has a "Paperclip" taped to it in a circle as if it is an Object. what are the chances that The Paperclip is an Object ? The Weasel seems to take Objects very seriously so we tend to think that maybe he was/is right about The Paperclip being an Object (maybe it was in the desk ?)
What is your take on this ? are we barking up the right tree or just wrong as hell....

And His reply:
The answer is a big YES, the Paperclip is not only an Object, it originally had its own episode. I hesitate to give away what it does though just yet -- still holding out hope that we can do more LOST ROOM stories in one format or another.

NOW we know...The Paperclip IS an Object !!!
