Re: The Bus Ticket
My My Willowbrook is at an angle missed that one. That means the departure was stamped with red ink. Odd there is no destination stamp. Most likely someone did a pile of stamping all at once then when someone bought a ticket a destination location would be done at that point. Old business stamps had rotating rubber strips. It's likely each city on the yucca route would be on that strip.
It is very likely the production team did not know the front numbers where regional codes and not stop locations, thus the lack of need to put anything in the city destination box. Eddie was going three stops on the line or three stops from the end of the line, from the point of view of production
If we go to the fiction it gets odd (like always) The only way the bus driver on the Yucca line could know where to let Eddie out would be a filled in city destination. It is unlikely the bus driver would let someone on the bus with no idea how far they were traveling on the line. He might have gotten that information from the station manager, but that sounds like way too many moving parts.
Here is a possibility The Ticket itself removed the destination, because it altered the destination

Re: The Bus Ticket
Thanks for the videos. I love watching them.
I think the second or "real" back side of the ticket is the way to go.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Thanks for the feedback, glad to see you are enjoying the videos (basically seeing me wrestle with Photoshop! This new version is crashing on me quite often for some reason so it seems Adobe didn't bake it fully before release).
I've finished the front of the ticket and have moved on to the back. Video #4 is up and shows the work I did on the stamp section and my attempt to give the ticket background a bit of texture.
I'm finishing work on the back and will upload that one soon.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Thanks for the video, but I hope you aren't done with front yet. The license plate is missing and some of the passenger windows have a vertical line.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Long time since my last post and I couldn’t wait to get back to the bus ticket but got busy with work etc. Tonight I finished the video for the back of the ticket and have posted it to Vimeo.
I’m glad Exyooper mentioned the details that were missing from the last video. Seems I stopped my recording software when I worked on the license plate and the bus window details, but they are now part of the front of my final ticket image file.
If you guys find anything else not quite right please let me know. I’m really close to actually printing the ticket in a thicker paper than regular white bond. Does anyone have any suggestions on how thick the ticket should be? or ideas on how it should feel / look?
By the way I was browsing ebay and found a board member selling the key fob and the postcard. I don’t have any objects (the ticket will be my first) so I went ahead an got those. The seller mentioned he/she are members of this board so hopefully I’ll meet them here. I’ll post more videos of the ticket creation as it happens.

Yes, I sell the fob to him at cost. But his eBay price is for people that aren't members here. You can get those items and more from my website for cheaper.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Thanks for the latest video. Love them.
I recommend using card stock (110 lb) for the bus ticket.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Hi everyone, I've finished my ticket and I'm really happy with the results. Duck tape looks good and I think it's a good copy of the original.
I was asked by a board member if I would make the image file of the ticket available for download and I have no problem sharing it but wanted to see if this is ok with everyone. I know some members sell the ticket online so I thought it would be good to get your take on this before posting the file.
