Re: The Bus Ticket
Hey everyone,
I've started work on my bus ticket and have uploaded a video with the first part of my progress in Photoshop. If you're into seeing someone move a mouse around in Photoshop the link is below. It's 2 minutes long.
Some notes for any future DIY folks wanting to do their own ticket:
• The font for the header on the ticket is Latin Wide D. Freely available via google.
• As dmv1066 mentioned, the Greyhound bus photo available here in the forum is not the one used on the original TV prop and even after searching the web I found nothing as good as that one so I've worked on it to get it as close as possible to the original.
• I played around with the blue tone on the text and other elements and I think I'm close but it's tough to confirm since the photos available have a bit of a color cast. As of now the web color is #3a4a6f
I'm preparing part 2 of the video so I'll upload that when it's ready.
Thanks in advance to everyone who contributed with screen caps and their personal tickets to the site, it's been invaluable.

Yes, doing it yourself is more fun anyway.

Re: The Bus Ticket
I finally had some time to prepare part 2 of the bus ticket video and have uploaded it. Check it out at the following link and let me know what you think. It's 2:42 minutes long. Video 3 is being processed right now and I'll have it ready this weekend.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Totally missed it! I'll update the license plate. You look at something long enough and your eye starts playing tricks.

Re: The Bus Ticket
Video 3 of my bus ticket creation is now online Part 3 here (3:47 min): https://vimeo.com/98787219
I'm now working on the back of the ticket and have a question:
In the following image am I correct to assume the top ticket is just a production test and the middle and bottom images (created by Rollerbal here on the board) are of the version used on screen? The accepted "canon" version?
