Search criteria on E-bay
I"m trying to look for objects on e-bay, and have found a few tags onhere to use to help me search, but is there a thread that has all the tags in one place that anyone can use to search. like the ashtray, or lamp, or TV, or radio. i just don't know what brands or make or models for everything

Re: Search criteria on E-bay
That would be a good idea to make a list of the objects in one post and and set it up like as follows;
The Clock ; <Phinney Walker Travel Alarm Clock: Brown> ; Phinney Walker - Vintage Phinney Walker
The Iron ; <Stewardess Steam Travel Iron> ; Vintage Stewardess Steam Travel Iron
and ect and make a list that way

Re: Search criteria on E-bay
If you're after a set brand or make you may be lucky that the seller knows what he has and has sold it as such, but there's a fair percentage that don't or just don't care. When I search for anything I cast my net much wider, using as many different descriptions as possible and through multiple searches. That way I catch not only items correctly described but those wrongly and under described too. OK it's a pain in the neck searching through all those extra results, but it's worth it in the end. I always set my searches in advanced mode to show everything from any country and region. You have to match your key with their lock and the more keys the more chances.
