Re: The Flashlight FOUND !!!
I thought about that but having 50+ yr old D batteries is not a good idea....they say leakproof but nothing is really leak proof when it can pressurize from the inside.
those batteries are a disaster waiting to happen.

Scan the labels, print them off and stick over modern batteries.

Re: The Flashlight FOUND !!!
You wouldn’t really want to use either the batteries or the flashlight. You could buy the antique batteries and just set them next to the flashlight for pictures.
If the flashlight were ever used in the show, it probably wouldn’t be opened anyhow. If it could be, it would represent four objects.

Re: The Flashlight FOUND !!!
Hey excellent.
Talking of opening it or not, the flask is opened and closed, so I don't see why the flashlight can't be. If so there's also nothing stopping you taking out the bulb too. Taken apart with the batteries how many objects would it make? The lens, the mirror, the head, the bulb, the body, the end cap and the batteries.

I am impressed ! The seller is the same as on my flashlight auction......he must have a few more I would bet.
Spike....Rollerball is right...I need a scan of a battery to make a label....hook me up !
I will try my flashlight when I get it to see how powerful it is....looks tough to me !
And I would assume that Roller is right and the bulb & batteries would be Objects.....but I won't set that in concrete.

Re: The Flashlight FOUND !!!
I have a suspicion this guy has a whole case of both flashlights and batteries. If I win the batteries, I will send you enough to (in theory) fill your flashlight. You, of course, wouldn’t want to put them in. I don’t recommend that you use any of it: they’re antiques; they’ve earned their retirement.
