Re: The Wall Painting

I was thinking of doing the picture, but is there a consensus on the size of the picture, width of the frame, shape (cross-section) of the frame ...

I prefer adjusting the contrast of the picture up a couple of notches for richer color

Yes, the frame definitely needs to be wider than I used. The color needs to be more realistic than what Office Depot printed for me. Maybe try Staples or Office Max.

That being said, I do encourage you to do this object.

Okay, at approximately 16 x 20 printing size, the right most line measures 2 inches. And the lines are equal [sign in to see URL] the frame should be 2 inches also.

The 2 inches being a nice round standard frame width lends credence to the size being 16 x 20.

Look at this frame in this link in Chocolate Distressed Maple. If this was 2 inches wide, it would be as close a match as anything I've seen.

try this site instead ]The Frame Place
price is doubled for small orders

I'm partial to Brazilian Walnut instead of Chocolate Distressed Maple

I placed an order for 16x20 in the Brazilian Walnut.

I will try it out and post the results.

This turned out MUCH better than I got at Office Depot.
It is from a website that promises the best color reproduction.

It is : 16 X 20
Borderless Print to the edge **note** You need to select a border if you want to frame this !!! **
           On their best paper

Although, I should NOT have selected borderless.

On the website, just click "click here to Order" and upload your image.

It came to $[sign in to see URL] with shipping. Which is in line with what I paid at Office Depot. It came in a nice safe tube in the mail.

Do not worry, I have added two cms extra on the edges of the picture, so there is enough space for framing emoticon

This is 16x20 in the Brazilian Walnut.

Sadly, I will have to have a new poster printed, with BORDER since the borderless gets cut off.

The frame is a really good match though.

It comes with a thin plastic sheet over the front.
