Yeah it's prominent because it is part of the Conte Oak and is closer to the viewer than the rest of the background leaves.

Yes, just a bit. There are other leaves on the same tree, but none are so prominent.

There seems to be a red bias in the Office Depot printer that printed it.
Also, I may need more coats of stain. The grain is more visible in my frame than the original.

That is because your frame is pine (or similar) and the original is hardwood, possible teak, mahogany or red beech.

If you have a Michael's near you, you can get on their email program by filling out a form at their store.
I most recently received a 60% off custom framing coupon from them. That would bring it to a more affordable price.
For future reference, my frame is 1 1/4 inches wide.

I'd love to see alternatives. Maybe a wider frame without grain and more accurate color.
