Yes! It may take me a while to get them because I accidently had them shipped to an old address and they (post office) will not forward packages. Only regular mail. I contacted the seller just minutes after the mistake and sent him 3 emails to correct it and he decides to email me back 2 days later saying he just shipped them to the old address.
I bet he didn't figure out that they were an OBJECT!!!!! Silly Rabbit, huh!!! Maybe I'll go to that post office and figure something out. I can't loose my PRECIOUS scissors!!!! WHAT ARE SOME OF THE NAMES OF YOUR SCISSORS??????

Off the top of my head:

Battarang
The Seven Scissors of Doom
Twizzler
Flip
Peppermill
Eskarina

The names usually have something to do with spinning.

It strikes me as funny how these people list their scissors confident that they have listed it correctly and then we come along and ask a silly question of "How long are they?" which must take some sellers aback.

they probally think "why in the hell would length matter ?"

but they just don't understand our mindset. we are detectives of a higher sort. we are precice in our hunt and just the littlest deviation from the accepted is not good enough for us. we want perfection with our Objects and I would venture to guess that there are some whom we have mystified in our quest.

Re: the Scissors !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve thought about that too. After I asked the seller of the clock to look at the link I sent, and he gave me a satisfactory answer, I messaged back: “Thank you. I represent a group of people, and they are satisfied with the description. Someone other than me will probably actually buy it.” I thought I was being courteous, but I realize now that I probably made him very uncomfortable.

…and yet, the world at large remains oblivious to our quest. We still get priceless antiques for less than fair market value.

Honestly though, I can’t understand why people don’t include things like dimensions. They make these huge elaborate listings with a dozen types of font and every imaginable trim but they don’t give a basic technically accurate description of the item. People are dumb!

I agree that people are dumb......and I also think that sometimes someone is so excited when they post an item on ebay they forget the info that is really important and glam up their auctions on the hope it will go big but they leave out the most infinitesimal piece out which if listed would sell their item in a flash.

Maybe caught up in delusions of greed ? or they cannot see the forest thru the trees ........

The seller got back to me and said that the scissors are 8.5 inches.

It appears that Z has claimed them.

Go Z!!!!!!!!
