I am a victim of my own failing memory
This post is mostly for my sake but also in the end to hopefully benefit you all as well.
I know i have said in some places here on the forums that i will do something. but because as of recent there is a lot of people that want screen shots of many things i thought you all could remind me of what those things were.
This is my list i have right now of things i am working on screen shot related:
-capture screen shots for the card carrying case
-capture screen shots of the bible to hopefully make out the binding
-capture Pictures of the room in the Polaroid
-Enhance the suitcase shot in the room
-Enhance the Key
-Enhance the wallet and flatten the image into a two tone image
- Enhance (what i can) of the theater binoculars
- (and something else....)
Please tell me by posting here what i do not have listed. So i can make sure i get this all done. I will update this list as time goes on but please let me know if i am forgetting something. I sometimes say these things when i am at work but don't remember it when i get home.
Thanks

Re: I am a victim of my own failing memory
You work too hard G-Man. I have trouble even keeping up with you. If you have forgotten something, we can forgive you and bring it up later. I need to keep my own promise and get down to the Sunshine Motel in Tacoma.
On the other hand, I personally am very grateful we have you here. You have breathed new life into our forum. As a result of your endeavors, we have projects and issues to keep us busy for at least two months. We think of ourselves as sort of a Lost Room Ark. One of our grandest aspirations is too stay alive and flourishing until the creators can produce something new.

Sunshine Motel
3801 Pacific Hwy E, Fife, WA
(253) 926-0937
When we did a web search, we discovered that there are a few actual Sunshine Motels spread around the country. This one just happens to be twenty miles south of where I live and in an area I am familiar with. I have a mission to go there, find out what I can, and deal them out of anything they will part with.
If you want to visit me in Washington, you can stay there. I will be glad to show you around.

Re: I am a victim of my own failing memory
Well i do have a friend up in Washington that i need to visit, but i don't know when i will ever have the time to go up there. is there any in Cali? Preferably near San Diego? haha.
Now is the motel very close to the one in the show? and where is the one that the people made for the show? someone on the Sci-Fi forums said where it was but i can not remember and i think that post got deleted/lost.

Re: I am a victim of my own failing memory
The actual Motel prop was built in Albuquerque New Mexico and has been torn down.
I did a search with Google Earth and found three Sunshine Motels in California. If you use Windows Live Search, you can probably get an aerial view of them. I doubt they have either the look or the feel of the motel in TLR. You would be going there just for the name.

Re: I am a victim of my own failing memory
By "photo" I assume you mean the photo of Eddie and Mabel. That is the one I really want. It should be as large and clear as possible. Ultimately, you may want to rotate it to the plane of the viewer.

Re: I am a victim of my own failing memory
I will get as pristine of a capture as i can for as much resolution as i can. When i get a chance.
Just so everyone knows We have started OT (over Time) here at sony so i will be unable to get those screen captures until OT is over. We might be starting a shift where we stay here until we drop dead then come back.
But that is what i mean by the photo yes
