I noticed that the back of the Postcard displayed on this thread. It said: "10 comfortable units". Then I looked at the script and noticed that Gus said "The room has nine rooms, right? Except one day Arlene finds the key to room 10."
So which is correct, the script or the postcard?

Gus refers to his own perceived timeline. The Postcard is an object and therefore from the presumed alternate timeline in which the motel has ten rooms.

Here's a printable label that can be applied to a modern "D" cell battery.
This is the most logical battery that would have been in the Flashlight.
I printed the original at 2.126 H x 4.2 W
