Book recommendation
hey guys,
Once upon a time i had loads of time to read. Strangely enough when I was working for Delphi Packard. Get to work, get the job done early, sit down and read a book until it was time to clock out. I literally, no pun intended, could read a regular sized novel in about 4 or 5 hours. I read alomst 200 books one year. Information overlaod. But one book or rather there are a couple of books i think you guys would enjoy.
The first book is called 'Fat White Vampire Blues" yeah it's was sort of funny but it brught some life to the vampires in books. This was a good one and I don't recommend books often. It has a second part to it call 'Wife of the Fat White Vampire' equally good and funny.
This other series of books which I haven't finished mostly because i would like to read all 4 books in a row is called 'Through Violet Eyes' It's a book about people that can talk to the dead. It was excellent. There are 3 more after that in the Violet series but I tell you all they are worth the read.
Note* Anyone who has seen the Bourne movies should know the books are slightly different from the movies. Enough that you might want to read them.

Re: Book recommendation
I'd like to recommend Greg Rucka's Atticus Kodiak series. The first two, "Keeper" and "Finder" are available in one paperback at most book stores or at Amazon here.
The series is about a professional bodyguard and his team. It's very behind the scenes, highly detailed but not at all tedious. Definitly page-turners.
I'm also a big fan of John Sandford's "Prey" series.

I highly recommend The Thomas Covenant Books by Stephen Donaldson. They are an absolute joy to read.
