Door Locks for The Key
Ive come into about 5-6 of these, and I am keying them over to open with Jintosh's key.
Is anyone Interested in a Vintage Door knob opened by The Key?
Jintosh's key is very close to correct on what the wafer pins require. his key would need to be cleaned up, "recut" as it where from a corrected one i would include. the recut would actually make his key more accurate.

My key was cut from visual reference. A more accurate key would be interesting....how much would we be talking for a doorknob and new key ?
Making a new mold would already be around $200 because I've not found a cheaper caster.

Re: Door Locks for The Key
I don't think there will be a market for this. It is too far removed from the central theme of the show. If it were relatively cheap, that would be one thing, but this entire enterprise will be quite expensive. I probably would not buy one, which indicates that very few people would. Note that I could not wait to get hold of Jin's key.

Re: Door Locks for The Key
Good luck with recutting project
Please post photos of your progress.
I got a data sheet on the 1950s Schlage tulip door knob
if that may be of any help
Also got a box of 1950 Schlage wafer keys.
Have fun, but try not to drop major coin.
