drivers license
alright, i've been thinking about this for a while so it probably won't sound like it did in my head like it does here.
Eddie might not have a drivers license. He had a bus ticket so obviously he didn't have a car with him.
Also if the event erased his identity, does that mean his entire lineage was erased as well? Did his parents never meet or did they just never have a child? Erasing an entire person from history could change the entire world. If he had a job then it would be filled by someone else, if his parents did have another kid, that child would be completely different growing up alone than with a brother. Everyone that ever knew eddie in the alternate universe would be changed as well since everyone has some sort of impact on your life. It would be a chain reaction affecting person by person till the entire world was changed.
That would mean that the universe that currently existed in the show would be completely different than the one where eddie would have still existed in current date.
I'm sure its been picked over before, but I started thinking about it nd it blew my mind if something like it ever happened!

Re: drivers license
You have just described the butterfly effect, and it is a very legitimate observation.

Re: drivers license
I think he had a licence in his wallet. If I take a train I take my licence with me...its I.D. and I bet Eddie's car was at the train station in Willowbrook until it ceased to exist.
Also I would guess is that there are money Objects. How much cash and change did Eddie have on him when the event happened ?? are those bills and coins in circulation now causing all sorts of chaos out in the world without anyone knowing whats going on ? Did he have a social security card ? what about a business card ? maybe a pic of Mabel ?
His wallet would not have been empty at all. Also he was a smoker so where is the lighter ? Most men at the time had them. Sure there is The Matches Object but those could have already have been in the room when Eddie checked in. my guess is that there is probally a custom Zippo lighter Object out there somewhere.
the possiblities are endless when it comes to the wallet and it's contents.

Re: drivers license
I think matches were so commonly used back in the day that not everyone carried a lighter because you could get matches at any place of business.
