Jean-François Millet

If your an Art director on a TV show chances are you have been classically trained. Choosing to put Jean-François Millet's Gleaners in Karl's upstairs vault was a visually joke on anyone who searching for the Objects: we are all covering the harvested ground in hopes of find some errant fact that will lead to gaining a object.

As a studio art major I sent hours looking at slide. The composition of the Gleaners along with a 1000 other works of art are pretty much etched in my brain. I picked up on it the moment I saw it, and thought funny Art Director. Cool think about the show is the details.

I agree that the Gleaners was intentionally selected for Karl's place. Have you identified the other picture?

If you are right, that could mean the painting in the room is significant too.

The wall painting, yes. It shows a particular tree with a dedication plaque under it. Do we know what the plaque says? Could be a clue.

Oh, Jintosh has just traveled back in time XD... or maybe I did, and all that hard work finding and reconstructing the Wall Picture was a dream lol

Ah ! A professor of Physics !! Someone that would understand many of the unusual properties of the objects.

Relative in at least the general sense.
