Re: The Soap Bat
I used a bar of motel soap in my home made wrapper.
The dimensions of the soap are roughly
2 x 3 x 3/8 inches
I thought "soap bat" was something in Bruce Wayne's travel kit.

Re: The Soap Bat
God bless you Jin.
My secret is out I collect Soap Bats.
I tried a 12 step, didn't work.
I have a room in my house we call
the Bat-room, can't really open the door
so we just push them through the heating vents
Thinking of starting a soup-bat collection.

Re: The Soap Bat
I have now been shipped four different auctions for hotel soap bars. In the last three the wrapper was torn open, so I did not have to, and in each case the soap had yellowed. I know this is a tiny sample, but I have a gut level feeling this would be the case in all cases of old soap.
So I'm turning my search for motel soap from motels. In the next three week we will be in a number of motels from Weed to Vancouver. One might fix the bill.

Re: The Soap Bat
I will now be offering the "Soap Bar" on my website for $5.
I use modern soap and a laser printed label.

A long term project is to make my own soap bar with the logo pressed into it.

Re: The Soap Bat
Turns out custom soaps are expensive or difficult to do.
I'm still pursuing this...it's just not as easy as I'd hoped.
