Trekie Stuff
Since several of you have shared other collections, I thought it only fair that you know I am a Trekie from way back. Here is nearly every ship or station that has ever appeared on Star Trek.
I have always considered Forbidden Planet to be the precursor to Star Trek, and it bothered me that I could not get a model of the C-57D at the same scale, so I got this little model from Minimodelmadness and made this diorama. The saucer (2 inches in diameter) detaches from the landing gear so that I can “play” with it just like the other little ships.
If I had been blessed with forethought, I think I would have dusted some of these things off before I took the pictures.
Here is my real prize: a functional mek'leth from a Scottish sword maker who made it for someone else and wasn't able to complete the sale.
Paul Allen, eat your heart out!

Re: Trekie Stuff
Nice! Once upon a time I was a Trekker. But after years of it and so many new and dark shows it's kind of been put on the back burner.

Re: Trekie Stuff
I see you have used the more sensitive term for our culture. I considered using it, but every time I do someone very naively corrects my grammar. I admire your stamina!
