Oh, I want one so bad.
You're doing really good work, Jintosh, by the way. emoticon I could never do what you're doing without it ending up a big mess.

I am teaching myself to be an artist ! emoticon

Should have a new sample Wednesday. Had to order some new leather pieces to practice on. You can't do samples without scraps to work with.

I can make an entire wallet with the design carved on it. The problem is I'm not as good at coloring it. I've put it on a back burner for now.

Jin,
The guy who made the limited run of wallets told me that the coloring was the hardest part, leather is all different and stains differently from piece to piece, no two are exactly alike.

I think he did it in thinned out dye so he could control the darkness.

But I am not sure if he used a brush, cloth or sponge for application.

I do know when he was done he clear coated the wallet to lock in the color.

Yep, I have the dye and clear coat stuff. Thinning it out sounds like a possibility.

The trick is never to pause movement, you need to sweep over it with one motion.

You could also try to dip the wallet in the liquid dye
