I forget who said it but they said, Dismantling equals destruction.
Also, when talking about the door with Iggy in the police station, half of the door is used to access Room 10 and the other half would appear "STUCK" and would not open.
The object might simply NOT come apart anywhere but inside Room 10.
I´ve been cited!!!! LMAO
No seriously, it IS actually something Chris said, although not in so precisely: please see the FAQ here: FAQ

Christopher Leone stated
in the Comic Con Interview:
"The Room is it´s own reality and the Objects in that are kinda restored to that, you know,
but they may have certain indestructable qualities."
...just for the Rules, I always felt like, well if they were completally breakable in there, then,
you'd be like "Yei, I just gonna brake the Pencil and have two Objects', right?
The Occupant' s willpower would not make much difference then...
But I do agree: taking of the cord would not require any tools

Re: The Transistor Radio
in support of The Earphones being a separate Object just think of The Grooming Kit.....you can easily take out an Object just as simply as unplugging The Earphones......yes this opens a can of worms so i will ask Chris....stay tuned.

Re: The Transistor Radio
What if the "Grooming Kit" objects were out of the kit at the time of the event. In such a case they would be separate objects.
For example, I think the camera and its case would be one object, a shoe and its lace would be one object, the transistor radio and earphone would be one object (assuming the earphone was plugged into the jack) .....

that does not work...the nail file is in the kit and it has it's own power
some are out..some are in...and the nail file makes it a new game ...in or out they are Objects..as is the case, lids, caps and probally contents.

Re: The Transistor Radio
Yep. Unless the writers say otherwise, it looks like you are correct. I was aware of that Jess picture, but to make sure I checked the mini-series with a fine toothed comb to see if it was there and it was. It is difficult to see, but we know what we are looking for.

Re: The Transistor Radio
Good find X.
I think my policy from now on will be to pass on near misses and kill for exact matches. I have too many near misses lying around as it is.
