One thing that has occurred to me is that our cabal is sort of a backup drive for the show. If all the original object props were lost, stolen, or sold, we could furnish copies of every single one of them. If a sequel is ever made, the absence of object props will not be an issue.

So [sign in to see URL] view myself as preserving the Objects for future [sign in to see URL] Objects MUST endure !

And we are definately a back-up for the [sign in to see URL] have so much here and we know so much about the show I seriously doubt that any furture developments or episodes could happen without our involvment.

That looks amazing.

Re-staining can be tricky, as you never know what lacquer they used.... sanding it to wood takes a lot of elbow-greese. If you get your hands on a small-scale belt-grinder like this:

it´s worth it

what comes to protecting the vinyl, do not use duct-tape!
Regular masking tape is no good either, you need the stretchy-elastic blue one to mask the edges.

At least here in Finland we have water-soluble M1 -class, tintable varnish available. They are not flammable. Although using them requires all the old hard-varnish to have been removed, totally.

To do that you can also use paint-remover goo.

But that thing needs to be washed away with water.

I know you know all this, just a note for the ones not knowing anything about woodwork emoticon

You’ve really earned your wings today X.

I am contemplating these. I swore I would not go for any furniture, but these are an exact match and that is a big temptation.
