Re: The tray

As I thought. The tray may be a bit to big, or we have to big of cups. To make sure our cups are not to big, Chuck, could you get a picture with your shaving brush in a drinking glass? This should confirm my thoughts.

Keep in mind that the paper covers change the appearance of the drinking glasses quite a bit.

I will do it tonite.....but I will say the glasses are the right size....I already put the brush in a glass and it was dead on.....the tray is the right size...remember that different cameras and different people create different perspectives.

There have been many times in this quest that a pic makes something look either bigger or smaller....it is my position that The Tray is correct.

Re: The Tray

Here is my tray:

Image

The felt came off ok...the residual hot glue was a pain to remove without scratching the plastic....but I did it.....just use either your fingernail or a plastic edge to scrape it off.

the mirror was total hell to get out.....I tried numerous methods to get it out in one piece WITHOUT DAMAGING THE TRAY but in the end I was forced to break (smash) it out carefully with a ball peen hammer....once I got enough of it out the rest I peeled out and then I removed the double sided tape....wear gloves and goggles when doing this.

On the bottom of The Tray is says in very small lettering:

Sally Design's
Glencoe, Il

Once the mirror and felt are off The Tray looks 100% ! wonderful find Exyooper !!

Where did you get the glass to put on the bottom of the tray? And where did you get the tray?
